There are scattered severe storms possible in portions of the Ozarks both early and late on Friday.
The first batch is primarily a hail and wind threat from storms expected to form overnight and into the early daylight of Friday. It would be mostly north of Springfield. Golf ball size or larger hail will occur in the stronger storms.
The second batch will be at its strongest in Kansas during the evening hours Friday. This activity will move into extreme western Missouri and the Ozarks by Friday night.
Yellow is the best chance but still low on the risk scale. Green is marginal.
