UPDATE: 5″ totals reported around Dade County. Not on map below!
Here’s an update on today’s snow and winter mix as it relates to my posts from yesterday and today.
Round one was pretty much spot on except Springfield failed to get the 1″ total I had forecast. Snow totals of 3-4″ were common in a swath from extreme southwest Missouri and that part of the forecast was spot on as well.
Round two is taking shape to the southwest of our area. I don’t think it will pack the punch I once thought but I do believe it has a few more inches to deliver to the Ozarks. This one will lay down snow more to the east of the first round.
My revised morning forecast for Springfield of 1-3″ will of course have to come from the second round. Could be a stretch but maybe an inch more?
