Saturday 500mb Forecast
We are entering the hottest week of the season so far in the Ozarks!
Nineties are in the forecast for the next seven days. Between now and Wednesday, near steady temperatures in the lower nineties is expected with a good breeze and moderate humidity for the season.
A front will try to make it close to the Ozarks on Thursday and Friday. Like the last front, this one won’t actually move through but its presence to our north make bring showers and storms close to the Ozarks with a slight decrease in temperature.
The real heat builds this weekend as computer models are indicating the center of high pressure aloft parking over the Ozarks. If this holds up, highs will reach into the middle nineties!
